On October 23rd, 2015, Sufjan Stevens released "Blue Bucket of Gold (Remix)" via Asthmatic Kitty Records. This track is a remixed version of "Blue Bucket of Gold," which originally appeared on Sufjan's album, Carrie & Lowell. The remix was created by Sufjan himself, reimagining the original track, which served as the album's finale. This release came as Sufjan was touring in support of Carrie & Lowell, offering fans an alternative perspective on one of the album's most poignant moments.
On Aug 10 2018, Gallant released a version of “Blue Bucket of Gold” which featured Sufjan, on his EP In The Room.
